ABOUT THE NCBJL

The Northeastern Conference Junior Basketball League (NCJBL) is a division of the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Youth Ministries. This league was revamped in August 1999 by a group of young people who sought to provide a sports ministry for the girls and boys of the church ages 13 – 17. This league has served as a training ground and a feeder for the Northeastern Conference Basketball League, and various College Basketball Programs.
FUTURE OUTLOOK
The NCJBL wishes to expand its offering to include a ‘PeeWee League for children ages 8 – 12, and an All-Female League.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

The governing body of NCJBL is comprised of the Youth Directors of the Northeastern Conference and the Commissioners.
OUR MISSION & GOALS

The mission of the NCJBL is to develop character, build and foster teamwork, to teach moral principles and to spread the gospel.
PAST WINNERS
Since our inception the following teams have won the coveted NCJBL Championship Trophy.
SEASON
The NCJBL’s season starts at the beginning of September and ends in November.  Games are played on Saturday nights and some Sunday afternoons.  All games are played at rented high school gyms and community centers in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and Long Island.
