The second game at Elmcor Gym on week two featured defending champions Mt. Sinai versus Corona. After the whistle blew Corona got the tip off went down the court and failed to make the layup. Mt Sinai likewise could not make good on their initial play. In the 15 minute Mt Sinai made the lay-up that got them on the board.

Corona responded in the next ten seconds to tie the score at 2 all. Mt Sinai pulled put into the early lead but Corona was right behind them keeping the lead to under 10 points. The game pace was fast, with plenty of turnovers. Corona continued to hustle and was able to tie the game at 16 all in the 6 minute. Mt. SInai pulled out by 2 points, Corona tied it up again. It became a 1 -2 point game as Mt. Sinai could not capitalize on all their plays and kept on missing their rebounds. Then late in the half things started coming together for Mt. Sinai as they were able to hit a three 3 pointers in a row and a number of lay-ups to extent the lead to 14 points at the half. Half Time score Corona - 22, Mt. Sinai - 36.

In the 2nd half Mt. Sinai scored first to extend the lead by 16 points, then 18 points. Corona could not seem to get consistent momentum going. They continued to hustle but was not able to follow through on their plays. Mt Sinai continued to extend their lead, dropping 3 pointers seemly effortlessly with Corona unable to stop them. Corona played hard all the way to the end but could nor makeup the points deficit. The game ended with Mt,Sinai the winner. Final score Corona - 50, Mt.Sinai - 66.
