The third game of the night for week 2 featured Jamaica vs. Bronx. Jamaica church are newcomers to the league never having fielded a team before. Bronx church was making their first appearance after an extended absence.

After the whistle blew Jamaica church got the tipoff and was first on the scoreboard. In the first minutes of play the game was fast as both teams got used to each other. Jamaica church initially was making a lot of wild shots but eventually settled into a rhythm. Jamaica soon pulled into the early lead as Bronx had trouble completing their plays. Jamaica was able to get a 16 point lead before Bronx stepped up their game. Once Bronx started hustling Jamaica started faltering missing shots and rebounds. Bronx was able to cut the lead to 4 points with 2:08 on the clock. Jamaica was able to stay ahead. with a 6 point lead at the half. Half time score Bronx - 31 Jamaica - 38

In the second half Bronx scored first and continued to score cutting down the lead to 3 points. Jamaica church responded and pulled out again by 7 points. The game continued to be close as both teams stepped up their game. The score was tied on a number of occasions but Jamaica church managed to pull out each time. In the last minute Bronx came with 4 points but again could not pull out as they missed a number of opportunities to score. Jamaica was able to stay ahead and finished the game with a 7 point lead. Final score Bronx- 64, Jamaica- 71.
