images/stories/img_8757-3.jpg The second game of the opening night featured Corona versus Linden. Corona is not new to the league but has been missing in action for a few seasons. They came out with a full squad and a large fan base for their re-entry into the league. It looked like most of Corona church was their to support their team. Linden a team who made it to the championship last year came out eager to start their run for the chip.

After the whistle blew Linden got on the scoreboard first with points added by #33 with 15:38 on the clock. Linden continued to pull out as Corona struggled to find their footing. Corona finally got it together and was able to complete one of their plays get on the scoreboard. They continued to add to their score but Linden was able to maintain their lead to the half. Half time score Corona - 23 Linden - 54

In the second half Linden continued to pull out. Corona went on a run a number of times but was not able to close the score gap. In fact the gap continued to widen as Corona's defense could not prevent Linden from completing their plays. Corona 's level of play increased all the way through the game but in the end it was not enough to give them the win. Game ended with Linden ahead, final score Corona - 45 Linden 93.
